Think Before you Act

Kids are dying too much these days. Everybody wants to protray to be a gangster and tote guns. Every young kid wants to be a rapper and rap about a lot of them do not live. There was recently a beef between 2 young rappers by the named Chief Keef and Lil Jo Jo. Jo Jo (16) dissed Chief Keef (17) and his mom which made Chief Keef furious. Jo Jo also dissed Chief Keef's group members and everybody knew this was not going to end well. As the beef went on people's tempur grew and Jo Jo made a stupid mistake. He drove up on Lil Reese (Chief Keef group member) and called him a "b****" several times and Reese replied back and angerily yelled "Imma kill you Jo Jo!" Hours later Lil Jo Jo was found shot to death and was pronounced dead. Another life gone due to stupidity and ignorance. Moral of the story is be something better in life than another dead body on the streets.

What do you seek?

Why do people not seek what is really important in life? Instead of exploring the world people rather sit on the couch and watch tv. Life is shorter than what people think it is. On top of that nobody even know when they are going to die. People live their life through social networks and try to find happiness by knowing the most people, having the most followers, or having the most likes on their photos. Where is the excitement for life? Where is the passion to be around different people? Everybody has lost the feeling of being outside in the fresh air. Who cares if you are the most popular person on twitter of instagram, what is that gonna get you out of life? Exacly. Live your life like tomorrow is your last day on earth. Show love to the people that you love instead of holding grudges for the rest of your life.

Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony is one of the most elite players in the NBA today. People doubt his playstyle and critisize him regularly. Starting off in Baltimore, MD Carmelo got into a lot of trouble. He attented Oak Hill Academy, prestigious high school, where he was clearly looked at as going to be one of the best players to ever live. Drafted by the Denver Nuggets Carmelo set the standards high while LeBron James did the same for the Clevland. It was always the battle of the titans when these two play each other. Being 6 ft 8 in tall he was a hybrid player at the small forward position. He battled with the big men down low but also took the ball into his hands like a point guard. Till this day Carmelo Anthony remains a spectacular player. Everybody is looking forward to the 2012-2013 playoffs to see if he will get his ring.

Beer Pong

Steps to playing Beer Pong.
1. Beer Pong can be played one-on-one or with teams of two.
2. Half-fill several 16-oz plastic cups with beer.
3. Set up the cups in a diamond.
4. Shoot to see who goes firts.
5. Try to score the pong ball into the opposing teams cup.
6. 2 balls per round.
7. The cup you make the other team has to drink.
8. Play until there are no cups remaining.
9. If nobody is drunk then nobody wins.

Thirsty Thursdays

"A term normally found on college campuses, the title became popular when many people did not have early morning classes on Fridays, allowing them to drink and party on Thursday night. Every Thursday of every week durring the semester is Thirsty Thursday; there is no specific or special date for it." "An early start to the weekend for many college students who go out and get slpooy drunk on Thursday night." Thirsty Thursday is celebrated all across the USA every week. Most of the time it is celebrated even when it's not Thursday. College kids love having "reasons" to party and drink, not even if they are legit.

Tattoos and Jobs

Tattoos can affect your job depending on what that job is and who does the hiring. Tattoos can even keep you from renting some apartments oddly enough, I saw that on the news one time. If you are a technician, or have a job that is indoors, and you never see actual customers it wont affect your job at all. If you had millitary experience, and have tattoos resulting from that, they dont care. If you are to be an outside sales rep, start by building your image where you are inside now. Start by wearing longsleve button down professional dress. That way, when you do get your new tattoo you either will already be in outside sales, or at least everybody will be used to your new improved image, and not question if you are hiding more tattoos. When you get them, dont show them off at work, or to anyone from work. people might, and probably will use this knowledge against you. i know from personal experience people have lied to sabotage me, because they couldnt find anything real to throw me under the bus for. dont give them anything, because they will try anyway. that is the rat race of life, especially in corporate america and sales type environments.

Life

My perspective is that life is what it is. It's a like a really really long rollercoaster *que the inspirational music* But seriously, life is what you want it to be. I belive in God and Jesus, but I have control of my life. If God did, I wouldn't make a single mistake or mess up. But my soul is the driver and my body is the person in it. Here's one of my favorite quotes thats silly, but it makes sense if you really evaluate it: Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. You also get what you give. What a lot of people dont realize is that nothing in life comes free. You have to work for whatever you want.

Single Parent Home

Growing up in a single parent home is tougher than a lot of things. Being a male and not having having a male father figure around is a hard thing to do. Who is suppose to teach you how to be a man? Who is suppose to teach you how to treat a woman? Broken homes do way more damage than setting families back financially. Growing up and not having a father figure will also teach you how to become a man, but most of the time it is not in a good way. Kids in the hood who don't have that father figure get mentored by the older kids that are already living life the wrong way. This doesnt always happen and just because it kid is in the hood doesn't mean they have to live life the wrong way, but it happens to too many kids.

Birthday Outlooks

As people grow up their outlook on life changes. After people reach the age 13 certain birthdays only matter. At 16 you get your license, 18 you can go to clubs and 21 you can buy liquor. The in between ages get left out like they are not important but, people should really appreciate those days because some people don't live long enough to see them. Being as my birthday is approaching soon, on September 4, I am thankful I made it this far and will celebrate it the same as if i turned 21.
